INBLACK ESCAPE ROOM – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to INBLACK Escape Room. By making a reservation, entering our premises, or participating in our activities, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are legally binding and ensure the safety, fairness, and enjoyment of all participants. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you should not proceed with booking or participation.
1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
1.1 Booking Process
- All bookings must be made through our official website or authorized third-party platforms.
- You are responsible for providing accurate player information, including full names, contact details, and the total number of participants.
- INBLACK Escape Room reserves the right to cancel or reject any reservation with incomplete or inaccurate information.
1.2 Payment Policy
- Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other approved payment methods.
- Walk-in payments may be accepted depending on availability, but advance booking is strongly recommended.
- All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable less than 4 hours before your scheduled game.
1.3 Booking Confirmation
- A confirmation email or SMS containing your booking details, game rules, and waiver information will be sent once your reservation is complete.
- If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours after making your booking, please contact our support team.
2. CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES & REFUNDS
2.1 Cancellation Policy
We offer a flexible cancellation policy:
- You can cancel your reservation on our website up to 4 hours before your scheduled game to receive a full refund in the form of store credit equal to the amount paid.
- Store credit does not expire and can be used to book any available theme on our website.
- Less than 4 hours before your game starts, your booking is non-transferable and non-refundable.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for late arrivals, no-shows, or dissatisfaction with the experience.
2.2 Modifications to Your Booking
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule your booking by cancelling your original booking at least 4 hours before your schedule game to receive store credit, then use it to rebook a new time or theme, subject to availability. If the new booking costs more than the original, you will be required to pay the price difference.
- Adding Players: Additional participants may be added only if there are available spots and provided the total group size does not exceed the room’s maximum capacity. Payment for extra players must be made at the time of modification.
- If you are unsure of your group size, we recommend booking for the minimum required number of players for the theme to avoid overpayment, as we do not refund no-shows.
2.3 Force Majeure Policy
In the event of unexpected circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions), you may request to cancel your booking. Approved cancellations will be refunded in store credit, which can be used to reschedule your booking at a later date, subject to availability.
3. ARRIVAL & LATE POLICY
3.1 Arrival Time
- Players must arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled time for check-in, waiver signing, and game preparation.
- Late arrivals may result in a shortened game experience without a refund.
3.2 Late Arrivals & Missed Sessions
- Games start promptly at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, you may:
- Play with reduced time for the remainder of your session, or
- Wait for the next available session (subject to availability, no guarantees).
- Refunds, rescheduling, or discounts will not be provided for late arrivals or missed sessions.
4. SAFETY, CONDUCT & FACILITY RULES
4.1 Player Conduct
- Players must follow all staff instructions and respect the game environment.
- Do not tamper with or damage props, locks, or escape room elements. Any damage caused will result in financial compensation by the responsible party.
- For the safety of our staff, any form of physical or verbal assault toward NPCs is strictly prohibited. Any inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the game without a refund.
4.2 Health & Participation Requirements
- Players must ensure they are in good health before participating.
- Individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, epilepsy, claustrophobia, or other medical concerns should consult a physician before booking.
- INBLACK Escape Room assumes no responsibility for health-related incidents during gameplay.
4.3 Emergency Exits
- Emergency exits are clearly marked and accessible at all times.
- In an emergency, press the emergency button or contact staff immediately.
4.4 Prohibited Items
- The following are strictly prohibited inside the escape rooms:
- Weapons (e.g., firearms, knives, or any dangerous objects).
- Alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances (intoxicated guests will be denied entry without a refund).
- Flammable items (e.g., lighters, matches, or any combustible materials).
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room and will be required to fully compensate for repairs or replacements.
5. AGE & GROUP SIZE RESTRICTIONS
5.1 Age Restrictions
- Most escape rooms are recommended for ages 10 and up.
- Players under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Participants under 18 must have a guardian sign their waiver.
- Some rooms may have higher age requirements due to themes or difficulty.
5.2 Group Size Limits
Each escape room has a minimum and maximum capacity (varies by room).
5.3 Private Booking vs. Shared Experience
- All escape rooms are priced per person, and you must pay the full amount for the number of players you reserve. This payment is not a deposit.
- By default, all bookings are shared experiences, meaning you may be joined by other groups who book the same time slot.
- You can view the remaining available spots and the maximum capacity for each time slot of the escape theme on our website.
- Each escape room has a minimum number of players required for private booking. If your group meets this minimum, you may select the ‘Book Private Experience’ option at checkout to reserve the session as private.
- Once any player has booked a session, the private experience option becomes unavailable for that time slot.
- If your group does not book all available spots and does not select the private booking option, other players may reserve the remaining spots and join your game. You may also choose to join other groups by booking the remaining spots in their session, as long as the total group size does not exceed the room’s maximum capacity.
- Some players prefer shared experience with other groups. However, we cannot guarantee other players will join your session. If no other players book your session, your game will proceed as scheduled, and your group will play alone. No refunds will be issued if you’re not matched with others.
- If you're unsure of your group size, we recommend booking for the minimum number of confirmed players to avoid overpayment, as we do not refund no-shows. You can add more players later (subject to availability), and payment will be required to confirm the change.
- Please double-check your selection before confirming your booking, as changes cannot be made after the reservation is complete.
6. OTHER POLICIES
6.1 Photography & Recording
- The use of flash, loud sounds, or any form of covert recording is strictly prohibited.
- Unauthorized filming, photography, or illegal recording activities will result in immediate action per local laws and venue policy.
6.2 Food & Beverages
No food, drinks, or alcohol allowed inside escape rooms.
6.3 Personal Belongings
We provide designated storage lockers with CCTV surveillance for personal belongings.
7. DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY WAIVER
- By participating, you acknowledge that escape rooms involve challenges and physical movement, and you accept all associated risks.
- INBLACK Escape Room is not responsible for injuries, property damage, or health-related incidents arising from gameplay.
- We reserve the right to deny entry or remove any guest who fails to comply with our policies, with no refund provided.
- All guests are required to sign a liability waiver when they check in for their booking at INBLACK Escape Room. To save time, please fill out this waiver prior to arriving.
- All guests are required to sign a Liability Waiver. Every participant in the booked session must sign the waiver before we can check you in your game. To save time, we highly recommend completing the waiver online prior to arrival. The waiver is available on our website [https://www.inblackescape.com/waiver], in your booking confirmation email, or at our storefront.
